Cwm Taf, covering Merthyr Tydfil and Rhondda Cynon Taf, provides a number of different services for adults who use substances and their concerned others.
We can offer free training to professionals, including;
- Basic Substance Use awareness
- New Psychoactive Substances
- Image and Performance Enhancing Drugs
Also, within the RCT area, Barod offer a specialised Family support service, whereby concerned others and family members can access support in the form of 1-2-1 intervention, fortnightly coffee mornings and Parent and Carer Training (PACT).

We also have a Young Person’s Peer Mentoring Service, that is available to the 16-24 year olds. This service is in partnership with Gofal and aims to support individuals to gain qualifications, volunteering experience and/ or employment.
