We are delighted to announce the publication of our terminology guide, ‘Why Language Matters’. This guide has been co-produced with people with lived and living experience of substance use. As part of one of our ‘asks’ within our ‘Setting the blueprint for a more equal and prosperous Wales for people who use substances‘, we set out to co-produce a terminology guide that can support the use of more dignified, humanistic and respectful language, when discussing substance use and people who use substances.
