We have made the difficult decision to postpone our recovery walk up Pen y Fan tomorrow. We have been monitoring the situation all week and following consultation with our trained rangers it has been agreed that the walk up the mountain is too high a risk due to the forecast heat and exposure to strong sun. We know that this is disappointing to all of us, but people’s health, safety and wellbeing are paramount to Barod.
We will send out a new date for our Recovery Walk soon.
Again, apologies for any inconvenience, but we would rather make this difficult decision than risk anyone suffering heatstroke or dehydration.
