Single Point of Contact for referrals: 03303 639 997
DDAS is an integrated Barod led consortium service, supported by Kaleidoscope and G4S. DDAS is the first point of contact for any adult over the age of 18 with a drug or alcohol problem in Dyfed. DDAS covers the counties of Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion and we support service users who have drug and/or alcohol problems themselves or who are concerned about someone else’s drug and/or alcohol use.
We offer an initial assessment, deliver brief interventions (including DBST, needle exchange and Naloxone dispensing and training), time limited specialist treatment interventions and an aftercare and recovery service. We have a specialist Criminal Justice service that support service users on community orders and a specialist prison link worker supporting service users to integrate back into community life following release from prison.

DDAS also deliver training to any professional within Dyfed on substance misuse and related topics such as New Psychoactive Substances (NPS), Image and Performance Enhancing Drugs (IPED) and Overdose First Aid. DDAS are also happy to tailor make bespoke training packages to individual organisational and staffing needs. In addition to delivering training, we regularly deliver campaigns based on health promotion messages and are often present in night time economy events raising awareness about our services, but also raising awareness of information that may affect our service users.
