The annual national recovery walk at Pen Y Fan is back for 2022

Following a break of three years due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are delighted to announce that the annual national recovery walk at Pen Y Fan is back for 2022. The event will be taking place on Thursday 14th July at South Wales’ highest peak, within the Brecon Beacons National Park.

The Pen Y Fan recovery walk has always been a date many look forward to, not only as a way to celebrate recovery and take in some breath taking views (weather and clouds permitting), but this year takes on even more significance, as it is a chance to see old and new friends, that otherwise we haven’t had a chance to, over the last few years.

The meeting point and time for this year’s recovery walk is Pont ar Daf car park (LD3 8NL) at 10.00am. There will be a short briefing at 10.15am with the aim of starting the walk at 10.30am. The route will be marshalled to ensure everyone stays on the right track, as well as providing assistance if required. Our very own Tyfu cafe will be providing free refreshments to everyone who has taken part, between 2pm – 4pm.

If your organisation/ service intends to take part in this year’s recovery walk, we kindly ask you to complete the below registration form, which allows us to have an idea of the total number of attendee’s, so we can cater for all, as well as adhere to the National Trust nominal License Fee structure of £1 per person, of which the overall cost will be covered by Barod.
