We are pleased to announce that after the successful launch of the Mike Parry Art Award last year, it is back for 2020. Mike was one of our colleagues who sadly passed away in January last year. In his memory, the inaugural art award was set up in 2019, to celebrate not only Mike’s life and his passion for art, but also what recovery meant to those who have accessed support from substance use services, past and present.

This years competition is now open for entries. The theme is based on ‘Life in Lockdown: Art in Isolation’ considering the coronavirus pandemic. This theme will allow entrants to capture what the experience of the lockdown has been through the medium of art, whether that be via paintings and drawings or photography and poems.
